The government of the Indian State of Goa has announced that Friday, February 15, 2019, would be a one-off statewide non-working public holiday on account of the death of Goa Deputy Chief Minister, Francis Dsouza.

The aforementioned announcement that Friday, February 15, 2019, would be a one-off statewide non-working public holiday on account of the death of Goa Deputy Chief Minister, Francis Dsouza, thus amends the "list of the days which will be non-working public holidays in India's state of Goa for the upcoming calendar year 2019" as released by the Government of Goa last autumn (2018-11-18).
