The government of the Indian State of Goa has announced that Monday, March 18, 2019, would be a one-off statewide non-working public holiday on account of the death, earlier today, of Goa Chief Minister, Manohar Parrikar.

The aforementioned announcement that Monday, March 18, 2019, would be a one-off statewide non-working public holiday on account of the death of Goa Chief Minister, Manohar Parrikar, thus further amends (2019-02-14) the "list of the days which will be non-working public holidays in India's state of Goa for the upcoming calendar year 2019" as released by the Government of Goa last autumn (2018-11-18).
