The government of the Ivory Coast, through its Ministère de l'Emploi, des Affaires Sociales et de la Solidarité Nationale, has announced that it had declared Sunday, August 11, 2019, as the date of the annual national non-working public holiday in the Ivory Coast on account of the upcoming Aïd-el-Kébir (Feast of Sacrifice) public holiday of the Ivory Coast.

The aforementioned date of Sunday, August 11, 2019, as the date of the annual national non-working public holiday ("jour férié, chômé et payé sur toute l'étendue du territoire national") on account of the upcoming Aïd-el-Kébir (Feast of Sacrifice) public holiday of the Ivory Coast seems based on the Umm al-Qora Islamic calendar as used in Saudi Arabia, as in past years (2019-06-03, 2018-06-12, 2017-06-24, 2016-07-05, 2015-07-16 and 2014-07-27).
