The Government of India's State of Karnataka has declared Monday, June 10, 2019, as a one-off non-working public holiday in the Indian State of Karnataka, following the death of playwright-actor Girish Karnad, earlier today.
The aforementioned declaration of Monday, June 10, 2019, as a one-off non-working public holiday in the Indian State of Karnataka, following the death of Girish Karnad, thus further amends (2019-01-21) last autumn's (2018-11-21), announcement by the Government of India's State of Karnataka of the "Karnataka Government Order", which contained its annual list of the days which were to be non-working public holidays in India's state of Karnataka for the, then upcoming, calendar year 2019.
