Kuwaiti 2019 Eid Al-Adha Public Holidays Preview

The Kuwaiti Civil Service Commission has released a preview of the dates of the upcoming 2019 Eid Al-Adha (Feast of Sacrifice) non-working public holidays in Kuwait, which will run, in all cases for 4 days, as opposed to last year's 5-day Feast of Sacrifice public holidays in Kuwait.

As per the aforementioned announcement that the dates of the upcoming Eid Al-Adha (Feast of Sacrifice) non-working public holidays in Kuwait will run for 4 days, "If Thulqida is of 29 days, Saturday Aug 10 will be the Arafat Day holiday, and the Eid Al-Adha holidays will be on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday (Aug 11, 12 and 13), and Wednesday, Aug 14 will be the start of official work." while on the other hand, "If the month of Thulqida is of 30 days, Sunday, Aug 11, 2019 will the Arafat Day holiday, and the Eid Al-Adha holidays will be on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (Aug 12, 13, 14 and 15), as Thursday lies between two holidays".

A confirmation of which dates will be the actual dates, is expected on August 1 or 2, 2019.

In the past, some years saw 9 days for the Eid Al-Adha (Feast of Sacrifice) non-working public holidays in Kuwait (2016-09-04 and 2013-10-08), and some years, as few as 5 days of non-working public holidays in Kuwait (2018-08-06, 2017-08-22, 2015-08-02, 2014-09-20, and 2012-10-15).

Recall that, since 2007 (2007-08-04), weekends in Kuwait are Friday and Saturday.
