Mauritius' government has confirmed its earlier announcement that Sunday, October 27, 2019, would be the date of the upcoming non-working public holiday in Mauritius for Divali, and that Thursday, November 7, 2019, would be a one-off non-working public holiday in Mauritius on account of the upcoming legislative elections in Mauritius.

The aforementioned announcement of Sunday, October 27, 2019, as the date of the upcoming non-working public holiday in Mauritius for Divali, is in line with the 2019 list of official non-working public holidays in Mauritius, as announced, last year (2018-05-26).
