Mexico Adds 3 Long Weekends in 2019-2020

The Ministry of Tourism, together with the Ministry of Public Education of Mexico has added three holidays to the list of Mexican holidays contained in the Mexican school calendar for the 2019-2020, "to increase the tourist activity in the country".

The dates specified in the aforementioned announcement would create 3 long weekends in 2019-2020 in Mexico, namely: September 13-16, April 30 to May 5, 2020, and May 15-17, 2020.

The aforementioned should not impact the annual announcement (2019-01-18, 2017-12-30, 2016-12-21, 2015-12-28, 2014-12-31, 2013-12-13, 2012-12-21 and 2011-12-22) of the official list of dates of the Mexican 2019 bank holidays ("los días en que las instituciones de crédito deberán cerrar sus puertas y suspender operaciones durante 2019").
