The Permanent Secretary to the Minister of Interior of the Federal Government of Nigeria, Georgina Ehuriah, has announced that the Nigerian Government had declared Friday, April 19, and Monday, April 22, 2019, as non-working public holidays to commemorate this year's upcoming Good Friday and Easter Monday non-working public holidays in Nigeria, respectively.
The aforementioned declaration of Friday, April 19, and Monday, April 22, 2019, as non-working public holidays is in line with past declarations of Easter public holidays in Nigeria (2018-03-27, 2017-04-13, 2016-03-22, 2015-04-01, 2014-04-15, 2013-03-26, 2012-03-31, 2011-04-20 and 2010-03-29).
