The Government of the Government of India's state of Odisha has declared a one-off non-working public holiday on Thursday, December 26, 2019, on account of the upcoming Ring Of Fire Solar Eclipse which is expected to be well visible from Odisha state on that day.
The aforementioned announcement, by the Government of India's state of Odisha, of a one-off non-working public holiday on Thursday, December 26, 2019, on account of the upcoming Ring Of Fire Solar Eclipse, is in addition to last year's (2018-11-12) notification of the annual list of the days which were to be non-working public holidays in India's state of Odisha for the calendar year 2019, as contained in the Government Notification "RDM-Reg-MISC-0014-2018-40221, Dated 29.10.2018" issued by the General Administration department of Odisha ("The Government of Odisha have been pleased to declare that the State Government Offices as well as the Revenue and Magisterial Courts (Executive) will remain closed on the festive/ Commemorative occasion, listed at Annexure-I during the Calendar year 2019, Saka-Era 1940 and 1941").
