The Peruvian government has announced that the one-off public holiday on October 31, 2019, gazetted the Decreto Supremo Nº 002-2019-PCM, for civil servants, would be observed by both public and private sector workers, thus amending and expanding the list of the official non-working public holidays in Peru for the calendar year 2019.

The announcement that Thursday, October 31, 2019, would be a one-off non-working public holiday in Peru, observed by both public and private sector workers, thus amends again (2019-07-07 and 2019-05-16) the list of 2019 public holidays in Peru, as released, earlier this year, by the government of Peru (2019-01-04).
