Qatar's Central Bank (QCB) has announced the dates of the upcoming Qatar bank holidays for the Eid al-Adha (Feast of Sacrifice) public holidays of Qatar, following yesterday's announcement by Qatar's Emiri Diwan of the public sector holidays for the same 2019 Eid Al Adha (Feast of Sacrifice) public holidays of Qatar.
As per the aforementioned announcement by the Central Bank of Qatar, the Eid al-Adha (Feast of Sacrifice) bank holidays in Qatar will run from Sunday to Tuesday, August 11 to 13, 2019.
Recall that, yesterday (2019-08-07), Qatar's Emiri Diwan extended the 2019 Eid al-Adha (Feast of Sacrifice) public sector holidays, for ministries, government departments, general authorities and institutions, for the upcoming Eid Al Adha (Feast of Sacrifice) public holidays ("will start on Sunday August 11, 2019 and ends on Thursday August 15, 2019. Employees are to resume work on Sunday August 18, 2019").
As part of the announcement by the Emiri Diwan, it was stated that he Qatar Central Bank (QCB), as well as Qatari banks and financial institutions and the Qatar Exchange would, as usual, make a separate announcement.
