Samoan Easter 2019 Public Holidays Announced

The Samoan Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Labour (MCIL), in a public notice signed by the Chief Executive Officer, Pulotu Lyndon Chu Ling, has announced that the upcoming Easter public holidays in Samoa "are Friday April 19, Saturday 20 and Monday 22 April".

As per the aforementioned announcement, "In accordance with Section 2 of the Public Holidays Act 2008, (2008-01-29, 2007-12-20 and 2007-09-15), "the following dates are to be treated as Public Holidays during Easter Holiday: Friday 19, Saturday 20 and Monday 22 of April will be the approved days for public holidays", in line with the quadrennial list of official non-working public holidays in Samoa for the calendar years 2015-2016-2017-2018, as released by the Samoan Ministry of Commerce, Industry And Labour in past years (2014-04-20 and 2011-09-06).
