The Islamic Religious Council of Singapore (Majilis Ugama Islam Singapura) has released its annual official Islamic Calendar to be used in Singapore for the calendar year 2020, in particular for the determination of the dates of Singapore's 2 annual non-working public holidays based on the Hijra calendar.
This had already been the case last year (2018-09-16), when the list of the official Islamic Calendar dates to be used in Singapore for the calendar year 2019, were announced months after Singapore's Ministry of Manpower (MOM) had released the official list of non-working Singapore public holidays and bank holidays in Singapore for the calendar year 2019 (2018-04-05).
Note that, contrary to the Deepavali Singapore non-working public holiday, which in past years was often incorrectly announced, initially, thus requiring a later erratum (2014-04-07, 2013-04-09, 2009-02-10, 2008-03-27, 2003-04-11, and 2002-03-04), the dates of the 2 annual Muslim public holidays in Singapore have never, in recent history (1998-03-29), been modified after the initial MOM announcement of the annual non-working public holidays in Singapore.
