The Government House of St. Kitts and Nevis has released a proclamation officially declaring Tuesday, August 6, 2019, a public holiday in St. Kitts and Nevis, for the celebration of Culturama.

Today's proclamation ("It is notified for general information that His Excellency The Governor-General Sir S W Tapley Seaton, GCMG, CVO, QC, JP, on the advice of the Cabinet has by Proclamation declared Tuesday 6 Aug., 2019 to be observed as a Public Holiday on the occasion of the celebration of Culturama.") is in line with the list of official non-working public holidays in St. Kitts and Nevis for the calendar year 2019 as announced by the Office of the Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis, earlier this year (2019-01-14).
