The Ministry of Labor and Public Affairs of the government of Afghanistan has declared Thursday, November 19, 2020, as a non-working public holiday to coincide with the upcoming visit of Pakistani Prime Minister, Imran Khan, and "to ease congestion".
The aforementioned announcement of Thursday, November 19, 2020, as a non-working public holiday in Afghanistan, is in addition to the announcement, earlier this year (2020-01-12), by the government of Afghanistan, of the list of official public holidays in Afghanistan for the calendar year 2020.
