The government of Albania, via its central bank, the Bank of Albania, has announced its annual list of the official Albanian bank holidays and non-working public holidays in Albania for the calendar year 2021.

The list of the official Albanian bank holidays and non-working public holidays in Albania for the calendar year 2021, mentions that "The Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha holidays may be subject to change according to the lunar calendar. In case of eventual changes, you will be notified accordingly.", but the Muslim dates in Albania are usually based on the Turkish DIB Islamic calendar and rarely change.

The aforementioned list of the official Albanian bank holidays and non-working public holidays in Albania for the calendar year 2021, as was the case for the past 5 years (2020-01-14, 2018-10-29, 2017-12-18, 2017-01-07 and 2016-01-09), mentions that "Holidays falling on Saturday or Sunday shall be observed on Monday".
