Antigua and Barbuda 2020 Public Holidays Released

The Permanent Secretary to the Ministry of Legal Affairs of Antigua and Barbuda has released the annual list of official non-working public holidays in Antigua and Barbuda for the upcoming calendar year 2020.

In the aforementioned list of official non-working public holidays in Antigua and Barbuda for the upcoming calendar year 2020, as was the case for the past few years (2018-12-28, 2017-12-13, 2016-12-05, 2015-12-23, 2015-01-05 and 2014-01-06), no change was made to the posted list of non-working public holidays in Antigua and Barbuda that we had supplied to government of Antigua and Barbuda (2013-02-05, 2013-01-31 and 2011-12-08).

Concerning day in lieu public holidays, the announced list of 2020 public holidays in Antigua and Barbuda states that "If the first day of January falls on a Sunday, then the following Monday shall be a public holiday" and that "If Christmas Day falls on a Saturday, then the following Monday shall be a public holiday. If Christmas Day falls on a Sunday, then the following Monday and Tuesday shall be public holidays".
