The Permanent Secretary to the Ministry of Legal Affairs of Antigua and Barbuda has released the annual list of official non-working public holidays in Antigua and Barbuda for the upcoming calendar year 2020.
Concerning day in lieu public holidays, the announced list of 2020 public holidays in Antigua and Barbuda states that "If the first day of January falls on a Sunday, then the following Monday shall be a public holiday" and that "If Christmas Day falls on a Saturday, then the following Monday shall be a public holiday. If Christmas Day falls on a Sunday, then the following Monday and Tuesday shall be public holidays", which is in line with the recently-gazetted "Public Holidays (Amendment) Act 2019" (2020-01-03, 2019-11-13, 2019-10-30 and 2019-09-14).
