Australian NT 2020 Public Holidays Announced

The Government of Australia's Northern Territory has gazetted, the list of 2020 public holidays in Australia's Northern Territory.

The aforementioned, which states that "From December 2016, the following days and times will be observed as public holidays for employment purposes: Christmas Eve, 24 December - 7pm to midnight and New Year's Eve, 31 December - 7pm to midnight", is in line with past years' announcements of the public holidays in Australia's Northern Territory (2016-08-01, 2015-12-21 and 2015-10-04), made in in accordance with Public Holidays Act (NT).

The announcement also includes the dates of the 2020 regional Northern Territory public holidays for: Borroloola Show Day (June 26), Alice Springs Show Day (July 3), Tennant Creek Show Day (July 10), Katherine Show Day (July 17), and Darwin Show Day (July 24).
