Azerbaijan's Prime Minister, Ali Asadov, has signed an order implementing the decision of the Cabinet Ministers of Azerbaijan declaring the period of May 23-30, 2020, as public holidays in Azerbaijan ("27 may iş günü 31 may istirahət gününə keçirilir, 29 may qeyri-iş günü elan edilir"), on account of the upcoming Ramadan Bayram public holidays.
The declaration of May 23-30, 2020, as public holidays in Azerbaijan, further amends (2020-03-12) the list of non-working 2020 public holidays in Azerbaijan, including Muslim Azeri public holidays, and day in lieu public holidays due to some of Azerbaijan's 2020 annual non-working public holidays falling on a weekend, as released by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Azerbaijan, late last year (2019-12-17).
