Bahrain's Crown Prince and First Deputy Prime Minister, Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, has issued a circular declaring Thursday, October 29, 2020, as the date of the upcoming annual non-working 2020 public holiday in Bahrain to mark the Anniversary of the Birthday of Prophet Mohammed.

Contrary to some previous years (2019-11-03, 2014-12-31 and 2012-02-01), but not all (2017-11-27, 2016-12-06, 2015-12-20, 2014-01-09 and 2013-01-21), the aforementioned date of the upcoming annual non-working 2020 public holiday in Bahrain to mark the Anniversary of the Birthday of Prophet Mohammed, does not coincide with the Fridays and Saturdays weekly days of rest in Bahrain (2006-08-02) and therefore no day in lieu public holiday will be observed.
