Bangladesh Eid-e-Miladunnabi Public Holiday October 30

Bangladesh's National Moon Sighting Committee has announced that the the date of the upcoming Eid-e-Miladunnabi (the Prophet's Birthday), and related public holiday of Bangladesh, had been set as Friday, October 30, 2020 ("the moon of Rabiul Awal of 1442 Hijri was not sighted in Bangladesh sky on Saturday, and due to that reason, the holy month of Rabiul Awal will be counted from Monday, October 19. Accordingly, Eid-e-Miladunnabi will fall on October 30").

The aforementioned announcement that the upcoming Eid-e-Miladunnabi would be observed on October 30, is in line with the official list of 2020 non-working public holidays in Bangladesh, as contained in the official announcement of the list of 2020 public holidays in Bangladesh (2019-11-25 and 2019-11-17).
