Bangladesh Extends Coronavirus Public Holidays Until April 25

The Ministry of Public Administration of the government of Bangladesh has once again extended the current coronavirus public holidays until April 25, 2020, for both the public and private sectors ("The general holiday is extended to April 23th, which means, with the weekend, it will continue till April 25th").
Last month (2020-03-23), the government of Bangladesh had initially declared non-working public holidays from March 26 to April 4, 2020, for both the public and private sectors, as part of its measures to slow the spread of the Covid19 virus, thus amending the announced list of non-working public holidays in Bangladesh in 2020, which was released last fall by the Ministry of Public Administration, Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh (2019-11-25 and 2019-10-29).
The initially announced period of public holidays in Bangladesh was extended until April 14, 2020 (2020-04-03).
