British Virgin Islands Public Holiday Moved To October 23

The department of information and public relations of the British Virgin Islands (BVI) government has issued a communiqué, advising the public that "St. Ursula public holiday will be observed on Friday, October 23, in lieu of Wednesday, October 21", in accordance with Section 5 (b) of the Public Holidays Act (Cap 199), as amended.
The aforementioned announcement that the St. Ursula public holiday of the BVI would be observed on Friday, October 23, 2020, is in line with last autumn's annual list of, and dates of, official non-working public holidays for 2020 in the British Virgin Islands (2019-10-01), as announced by the cabinet of the British Virgin Islands, in accordance, as well, with Section 5 of the Public Holidays Act (2018-10-19, 2017-11-07, 2016-10-13, 2015-10-05, 2014-09-15, 2013-10-11, 2012-10-20 and 2011-09-23).
