Cambodia's Prime Minister has signed the Sub-Decree on the Calendar of Holidays for Civil Servants, Employees and Workers for 2021 (Prakas No. 397/20), establishing Cambodia's annual list of official non-working public holidays for the upcoming calendar year 2021 (អនុក្រឹត្យស្តីពី ប្រតិទិនឈប់សម្រាកការងាររបស់មន្រ្តីរាជការ និយោជិក កម្មករ ប្រចាំឆ្នាំ២០២១).

As was done most years (2019-11-11, 2018-11-26, 2017-12-08, 2013-10-28, 2012-10-23, 2011-10-16, 2010-09-03, 2009-08-25, 2008-09-22 and 2007-08-03), with some exceptions (2016-11-14, 2015-10-05 and 2014-11-15), the aforementioned decree (អនុក្រឹត្យស្តីពី ប្រតិទិនឈប់សម្រាកការងាររបស់មន្រ្តីរាជការ និយោជិក កម្មករ ប្រចាំឆ្នាំ២០២១) no longer mentions the effect of Cambodian public holidays falling on a weekend day, but rather reflects the major changes to Cambodian public holidays enacted last year (2019-08-09).

Referring to the aforementioned Prakas 397/20 the lack of mention that a holiday falling on a Sunday will be compensated on the following work day, might not mean anything for future years, as none of the 2021 public holidays fall on a Sunday.
