Cameroon's President, Paul Biya, has issued a decree declaring Monday, May 25, 2020, as a day in lieu public holiday in Cameroon ("le Président de la République a décrété le lundi 25 mai 2020, jour férié et chômé sur l’étendue du territoire").
Recall that, last night (2020-05-22), Cameroon's Commission Nationale du Croissant Lunaire has announced that Sunday, May 24, 2020, would be the date of the upcoming End of Ramadan public holiday of Cameroon.
On that occasion, we mentioned that it was expected that, as was done last year (2019-08-09), the President of Cameroon would issue a decree declaring Monday, May 25, 2020, as a day in lieu public holiday in Cameroon, in line with the expected list of 2020 public holidays in the Cameroon as announced at the beginning of this year (2020-01-13).
