Cape Verde 2020 Public Holidays Announced

The government of Cape Verde has released the list of official public holidays in Cabo Verde in the calendar year 2020.

The aforementioned list of official public holidays in Cabo Verde in the calendar year 2020 may yet be amended during the year, as was often done in the past (2019-12-12, 2019-06-17, 2019-04-15, 2018-03-28, 2017-12-08, 2016-12-23, 2015-12-21, 2014-12-14, 2010-12-08, 2009-12-14, 2008-12-19, 2006-12-15, 2005-12-12, 2004-12-13), though they are often limited to the afternoon.

Additionally, public sector holidays can be declared separately ("tolerâncias de ponto das repartições públicas são concedidos por meio de decreto do Conselho de Ministros, e podem ser nacional local ou regional e se estendem a todos os órgãos e entidades da administração pública que não sejam considerados essenciais").
