The Government of India's state of Chhattisgarh has released a Government Order containing its annual list of the days which will be non-working public holidays in India's state of Chhattisgarh for the calendar year 2021 ("As per the notification # 20-25-56-Pub-I, dated 08.06.1957 of Ministry of Home, Govt. of India, read with Sec. 25 of Negotiable Instruments Act 1881(26 of 1881) in exercise to the powers given in the said Act, the state govt. declares following public holidays as holidays for Govt. offices for the year 2021, apart from which falls on Sunday.").
The aforementioned notification of the list of 2021 public holidays in India's state of Chhattisgarh is contained in the Government Order No. F-1-1/2020/1/5 Notification issued by the General Administration department of Chhattisgarh, and signed by the Deputy Secretary, Meri Khess, "by Order by Governor of C.G.".
As usual (2019-12-13, 2019-01-03, 2017-08-31 and 2016-12-09) the Government Order containing the Chhattisgarh public holidays for the calendar year 2021, contains a section for bank holidays ("Holidays whichs mentioned in S. No. 03 declared only for Banks and Treasuries"), excludes the 2021 holidays of Mahaveer Jayanti and Independence Day, which both fall on a weekend in 2021 ("These fall on Sunday, so that it was not declared separate holidays."), and contains a list of optional holidays ("For Year 2021 following are General and Optional holidays for C.G. Govt. offices and establishments.").
