Galicia 2021 Public Holidays Announced

The government of Spain's Autonomous Region of Galicia has published its annual official list of regional public holidays ("calendario laboral") in Galicia for the upcoming calendar year 2021.

In its annual calendar of official public holidays (2019-06-27, 2019-05-09, 2018-10-28, 2018-10-10, 2017-09-15, 2017-07-08, 2016-05-04, 2015-07-03, 2014-05-24, 2013-06-21, 2012-06-02, 2011-07-02, 2010-06-29, 2009-07-17, 2007-07-20 and 2007-01-04) for the calendar year 2021, the Consejo de la Xunta de Galicia has decided to declare a regional public holiday on July 26 (the day after the Día Nacional de Galicia), and on August 16, the day after Assumption, both of which fall on a Sunday in 2021.

As per custom, a corresponding decree will later (2019-06-27) be published in the Diario Oficial de Galicia ("DECRETO por el que se determina el calendario laboral para el año 2021 en la Comunidad Autónoma de Galicia").
