The first decree declares September 20 a new annual public holiday in Haiti, to be observed as "Jour de Dessalines".

The second decree renames the current "Mort de Dessalines" annual October 17 public holiday as "Journée de deuil national" for the calendar year 2020 only.

Both decrees appear in today's Le Moniteur N°151 (Haiti's official gazette).
