Indonesia's Central Bank, has announced that, despite yesterday's third change to the list of 2020 public holidays, by the government of Indnesia, upcoming bank holidays in Indonesia would remain unchanged, and run from May 21-25, 2020, inclusively.
Initially (2019-12-23), in line with the list of official 2020 public holidays announced by the government of Indonesia (2019-08-27), the list of 2020 bank holidays in Indonesia listed May 21-25, 2020, as bank holidays for the Indonesian End of Ramadan bank holidays.
The government of Indonesia then amended its list of 2020 Indonesian public holidays and collective leave days by adding 4 cuti bersama (2020-03-09), and then backtracked due to the Covid19 crisis (2020-04-09), moving the extended joint leave holidays, from May 26-29, to December 28-31, 2020. Both of these amendments were followed by the Indonesian Central Bank.
But, it seems that yesterday's last-minute decree "Eradicating Joint Leave of Eid Al-Fitr 1441 Hijri on May 22, 2020" (2020-05-20) was the straw that broke the camel's back.
