The Bank of Japan (Japan's central bank) has released an amended version of its previously-released annual list of official national holidays, public holidays and bank holidays in Japan for the calendar year 2021.
Today's announcement, of a revised list of 2021 bank holidays in Japan, follows last month's announcement (2020-11-27), by the Japanese Government Cabinet Office, confirming the previously-announced changes to the list of 2021 public holidays (2020-06-10), due to the postponement of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics (2020-03-26) and the 4 related public holidays (令和三年東京オリンピック競技大会・東京パラリンピック競技大会特別措置法).
