Kuwait Prophet's Birthday Public Holiday October 29

The Kuwaiti Civil Service Commission has announced that the date of the upcoming annual non-working 2020 Kuwaiti public holiday for the Prophet's Birthday would be Thursday, October 29, 2020.

In past years (2016-11-29, 2015-12-08, 2014-01-10, 2012-01-19, 2011-02-15 and 2011-01-22), the public holiday for the birthday of Prophet Mohammad was often moved to another date due to a conflicting weekend, although this was not the case some years (2017-11-13 and 2013-01-22).

Note that, as weekends in Kuwait were changed from Thursday/Friday to Friday/Saturday, more than a decade ago (2007-08-04 and 2007-06-03), the aforementioned 2020 Prophet's Birthday public holiday in Kuwait will run for 3 consecutive days ("The work in all ministries, government agencies and public institutions will resume on Sunday, November 1st").
