Kyrgyzstan Announces November 2020 Public Holidays

The Ministry of Labour and Social Development of the Kyrgyz Republic has announced that Kyrgyzstanis will be on public holidays for 4 consecutive days, in November 2020, namely from Saturday, November 7, until Tuesday, November 10, 2020, inclusively, on account of the annual, November 7 and 8, Days of the history of memory and ancestors public holidays of Kyrgyzstan (Дни истории и памяти предков).

The aforementioned announcement of 4 consecutive days of public holidays in Kyrgyzstan from November 7-10, 2020, is in line with the calendar of annual non-working public holiday in Kyrgyzstan for the calendar year 2020, announced late last year (2019-12-16 and 2019-10-15), as well as the approval by the Jogorku Kenesh of the establishment of November 7-8 as annual public holidays in Kyrgyzstan for the "Days of History and Memory of Ancestors" (2017-11-15, 2017-10-31, 2017-10-26, 2017-10-24).

Last year (2019-10-19), 4 days of consecutive non-working public holidays had been declared, and the year before (2018-10-14), 5 days of consecutive non-working public holidays had been declared for the Days of the history of memory and ancestors public holidays of Kyrgyzstan.
