The President of Liberia, George Manneh Weah, has issued a proclamation declaring Tuesday, December 8, 2020, as a non-working public holiday, "Elections Day", to be observed as public holiday throughout Liberia, on account of that date's three categories of elections: the National Referendum, the Senatorial Elections, as well as two by-elections.
