The President of the Republic of Liberia, George Manneh Weah, has issued a proclamation declaring Saturday, October 24, 2020, as United Nations Day, to mark the 75th Anniversary of the United Nations ("Additionally, in 1971, the United Nations General Assembly further adopted Resolution No. 2782 declaring the United Nations Day to be observed as a public holiday by member states").

The proclaimed United Nations Day, on Saturday, October 24, 2020, will be observed as a working holiday on Friday, October 23, 2020.
