Malaysian PHG State May 22 Public Holiday

The government of Malaysia's Pahang State has announced that Friday, May 22, 2020, would be a public holiday, simply named "Hari Hol" on the official government website.

Though no detailed explanations were given, the announced public holiday date of May 22, 2020, corresponds to the death anniversary of the late Sultan, Paduka Ayahanda Sultan Ahmad Shah Al-Musta'in Billah ibni Al Marhum Sultan Abu Bakar Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mu'adzam Shah (2019-05-22).
