Maldives Covid19 Public Holidays Extended Until May 28

Maldives President, Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, has announced that it had extended the current April 16-May 14, 2020, non-working public sector holidays in the Maldives, for another 14 days, until May 28, 2020, on account of the current Covid-19 Pandemic.
The aforementioned announcement follows the declaration of March 19-26, 2020 (2020-03-18), the declaration of April 16-30, 2020 (2020-04-15), and the declaration of May 2-14, 2020 (2020-04-30), as non-working public sector holidays in the Maldives, and further amends and extends the list of official public holidays in the Maldives for the calendar year 2020, released by President Office's Spokesperson, Ibrahim Hood, late last year (2019-12-12).
