Mozambique's for Labor and Social Security, Margarida Talapa, in a press release released this morning, has announced a non-working public sector holiday in Mozambique, for all workers, civil servants and citizens of the city of Maputo, tomorrow, Tuesday, November 10, 2020, on account of the celebration of the 133rd anniversary of the city of Maputo ("a tolerância é concedida por ocasião da celebração do 133º aniversário dacidade de Maputo").
The declaration of a municipal public sector holiday in Maputo, Mozambique's capital, on Tuesday, November 10, 2020, is in line with the list of 2020 public holidays in Mozambique, as announced, earlier this year (2020-01-05).
The aforementioned announcement goes on to specify that the celebrations of said public sector holiday should be done at home, in line with Covid-19 restrictions ("de forma individual ou no domicílio, cumprindo com as medidas de prevenção da Covid-19").
