Senegal 2020 Eid al-Adha Public Holiday Announced

The National Moon-Sighting Commission of Sénégal (Commission nationale d'observation du croissant lunaire - CNOCL) has announced that the upcoming Tabaski (Aid el Kébir, aka. Feast of Sacrifice) annual non-working public holiday of Senegal would be on Friday, July 31, 2020.

Contrary to what often happens (2015-09-17, 2014-09-26, 2013-10-09, 2011-08-30 and 2007-12-18), and for a second year in a row (2019-08-03), all Senegalese Muslim communities, including the Coordination des musulmans de Dakar, have announced that they would follow the recommendations of the CNOCL.
