The executive of Spain's Basque autonomous region (País Vasco) has announced its annual calendar of official regional public holidays and bank holidays for the upcoming calendar year 2021 ("decreto de calendario laboral").

The July 25 Santiago Apostol public holiday, added a few years ago (2015-07-01), to side-step the debate (2013-12-12, 2013-12-03, 2013-11-15, 2013-10-30, 2013-06-08 and 2013-05-26) on the October 25, Basque regional public holiday, added 8 years ago (2010-04-23), will not be a regional public holiday in Spain's Basque autonomous region in 2021, due to its falling on a Sunday.

But, after a few years' absence (2017-04-26, 2016-05-11 and 2016-04-19), the March 19, San José, public holiday will be included in Spain's Basque autonomous region in 2021, for the third consecutive year (2019-04-01 and 2018-04-04).
