Sri Lanka Coronavirus Public Holiday March 16

The Sri Lankan Minister of Public Adminstration, Janaka Bandara Tennakoon, has announced that Monday, March 16, 2020, had been declared a public holiday, mercantile holiday and bank holiday, throughout Sri Lanka, "to prevent the spread of coronavirus".

The aforementioned announcement by the Sri Lankan Minister of Public Adminstration, thus officially amends the official list of Sri Lankan public holidays and bank holidays for the calendar year 2020 as announced last year (2019-10-05 and 2019-06-10).
