The Sri Lankan government's public administration ministry has declared Thursday, June 4, 2020, the eve of the upcoming Poson Full Moon Poya day public holiday, as a government public holiday in Sri Lanka.
The aforementioned announcement of a public holidays on Thursday, June 4, 2020, follows a string of Covid19 public holidays (2020-03-19, 2020-03-16 and 2020-03-14) and further amend the official list of Sri Lankan public holidays and bank holidays for the calendar year 2020 as announced last year (2019-10-05 and 2019-06-10).
