St Vincent and the Grenadines Declares August Public Holidays

The Prime Minister of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Ralph Gonsalves, has announced that Monday and Tuesday, August 3rd and 4th, 2020, had been declared as public holidays in St Vincent and the Grenadines "following the cancellation of Vincy Mas 2020, on the recommendations of the Carnival Development Corporation".
The aforementioned declaration of Monday and Tuesday, August 3rd and 4th, 2020, as non-working public holidays in St Vincent and the Grenadines, will be as compensation for the cancellation of the Carnival Monday and Carnival Tuesday public holidays, set on July 6th and 7th, 2020, in the official list of bank holidays and non-working public holidays in St Vincent and the Grenadines for the calendar years 2020, as released earlier this year (2020-01-20), in accordance with the Public Holidays Act (Cap.206) and subsequent Public Holidays (Amendment) Bill, 2001 (2001-12-20, 2001-11-13, 2001-10-17 and 2001-01-11).
