The Central Bank of the UAE has, in turn, announced the dates of the upcoming 2020 Eid Al Fitr (End of Ramadan) non-working bank holidays in the UAE for all banks in the UAE, as "starting from Friday, 29 Ramadan corresponding 22 May, to 3 Shawwal 1441H".
As per the aforementioned announcement, and similarly to what was recently announced for the UAE's private sector (2020-05-14), and for the UAE public sector (2020-05-11), the UAE banking sector will benefit from the same number of non-working bank holidays on account of the upcoming 2020 Eid Al Fitr, as per last year's announcement (2019-03-05) by the UAE government of its list of expected non-working public holidays in the UAE for the calendar years 2019 and 2020, though these dates were subsequently amended (2019-10-31 and 2019-09-08).
