The Venezuelan regulatory body for the banking sector (La Superintendencia de Instituciones del Sector Bancario) has released the official list of the dates of the non-working public holidays in Venezuela in 2021 as well as of the bank holidays in Venezuela for the upcoming calendar year 2021.

As usual, the list gives details of the banks-only holidays that are moved to adjoin the weekend nearest to their traditional date, and in 2021, once again, 5 such bank holidays will be moved to the nearest Monday, while 3 will not be observed as they fall on a Sunday (2019-09-08, 2018-08-09, 2017-07-01, 2016-06-19, 2015-12-14, 2014-08-04, 2013-08-01, 2012-07-17, 2011-08-06 and 2010-12-05).

The dates for the Día de la Divina Pastora, the Ascensión de Señor and of the Corpus Christi bank holidays seem contrary to past rules, and may yet be amended.
