Venezuelan Bank Holiday January 20

The Venezuelan regulatory body for the banking sector, Sudeban (Superintendencia de Instituciones del Sector Bancario) has announced that Monday, January 20, 2020, would be a bank holiday in Venezuela, on account of the annual "Día de la Divina Pastora" bank holiday of Venezuela ("este lunes 20 de enero es Feriado Bancario en Venezuela").

As usual (2020-01-04, 2019-11-02, 2019-09-13, 2019-07-21, 2019-03-15, 2018-10-29, 2018-09-02, 2018-07-23, 2018-06-27, 2018-05-27, 2018-05-12, 2018-03-18, 2017-12-06, 2017-09-07, 2017-08-12, 2017-07-20, 2017-06-30, 2017-05-26, 2017-01-01, 2016-12-06, 2016-11-04, 2016-08-11, 2016-07-01, 2016-05-27, 2016-01-08), the aforementioned Monday, January 20, 2020, bank holiday in Venezuela for the annual "Día de la Divina Pastora" bank holiday of Venezuela, is in line with the official list of the dates for the 2020 public holidays and banking holidays in Venezuela as announced late last summer by the Sudeban (2019-09-08) in conformity with the "Ley de Reforma Parcial de la Ley de Instituciones del Sector Bancario".
