Zimbabwe 2021 Public Holidays Gazetted

Zimbabwe's Minister of Home Affairs and Cultural Heritage, Kazembe Kazembe, has gazetted the annual announcement of the dates for the 2021 non-working public holidays in Zimbabwe in the General Notice 2554 of 2020 ("It is hereby notified, that the Minister has, in terms of section 2(1) of the Public Holidays and Prohibition of Business Act [Chapter 10:21], declared that the days listed in the Schedule shall be public holidays in 2021").

The aforementioned announcement of the dates for the 2021 non-working public holidays in Zimbabwe, as usual (2019-09-30, 2018-09-22, 2017-09-02, 2016-09-18, 2015-08-31, 2014-07-28, 2013-06-29, 2013-02-04 and 2012-08-01), does not include any special public holidays that the President has the power to declare, but does include the new annual non-working public holiday of Zimbabwe, on February 21 (2017-08-19, 2018-02-20 and 2017-11-22), the Robert Gabriel Mugabe National Youth Day, as well as a day in lieu in 2021, due to February 21 falling on a Sunday in 2021.
