Barbados Emancipation Day Public Holidays August 1-3

The Government of Barbados has declared announced that Monday and Tuesday, August 2 and 3, 2021, would be public holidays in Barbados for the upcoming Emancipation Day and Kadooment Day ("The Emancipation Day public holiday, which occurs on August 01, will be observed this year on Tuesday, August 3").

The aforementioned announcement grows on to clarify that is "This because August 1, falls on a Sunday, and Kadooment Day will be celebrated on Monday, August 2".

The announcement of Monday and Tuesday, August 2 and 3, 2021, as public holidays for the upcoming Emancipation Day and Kadooment Day of Barbados, is in line with the list of 2021 public holidays in Barbados as announced last year (2020-04-11).
