The Prime Minister of Barbados, Mia Amor Mottley, has declared Monday and Tuesday, January 4 and 5, 2021, as one-off public holidays in Barbados ("Monday and Tuesday will be closed to businesses").

The aforementioned declaration of Monday and Tuesday, January 4 and 5, 2021, as one-off public holidays in Barbados, made last night during a COVID-19 update to the nation by Prime Minister Mottley, thus amends the list of 2021 public holidays in Barbados as announced last spring (2020-04-11).
