As per the aforementioned announcement, "all staff and employees of state institutions are allowed to take three days off in accordance with the Sub-Decree dated August 26, 2020, on the calendar of holidays of civil servants, employees, and workers for 2021".

Recall that the 2020 Khmer New Year public holidays, also originally announced in April (2019-11-11), was later postponed to August 2021 (2020-07-12 and 2020-04-07).
